Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsibilities include completing high-volume pool installs (e.g., 24’ round pools), performing precision grading and residential dirt work, and operating equipment such as full-size vehicles capable of towing, skid steers/Bobcats/front loaders, and laser or transit levels to ensure accurate builds. Must have 5+ years of proven experience or strong grading/dirt-work background, plus a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability policy (or ability to obtain one). Must provide own equipment and have a reliable full-time helper. Willingness to travel up to a 200-mile radius to install 20–30 pools monthly. Training is provided (3-day on-the-job). Compensation highlights include daily pay and potential earnings of $1,400–$1,600 per day per install, with bonuses and weekly incentives possible. Company notes a nationwide pool-install operation with consistent workflow and immediate start options.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one)
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (tools may be owned, rented, or leased, but must be provided)
- willingness to start immediately and cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
