Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator needed for high-volume above-ground pool installations across the state. The role involves performing quality pool installations and precision grading within a 200-mile radius, requiring 5+ years of relevant experience, access to necessary equipment (vehicle capable of towing, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and laser or transit level), a valid driver’s license and $1,000,000 liability insurance, and completion of a 3-day on-the-job training. Earnings are described as daily pool installation pay with potential bonuses and up to ~20–30 pools per month, with daily pay and a sign-on bonus. This is a contractor position for immediate availability with Salem, OH as the listed location.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- You must have at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (equipment may be owned, rented, or leased, but you must provide it)
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one)
- Willingness to start immediately and cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer to learn our build process and verify precision grading skills
