Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for Blue World Pools, performing above-ground pool installations across the state with 5+ years of experience in pool installs or precision grading/dirt work. You’ll bring and operate your own equipment (full-size vehicle for towing, skid steer/front loader, and a laser or transit level), work with at least one full-time helper, and complete up to 20–30 pools per month within a ~200-mile radius. Training is provided (3 days) to align with our build process. Compensation highlights include daily pay with earnings potential described per installation, plus bonuses (sign-on and per-pool bonuses). Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, plus a $1,000,000 general liability policy or ability to obtain one. Company has operated nationwide since 1982 and emphasizes a steady stream of high-volume work; position offers immediate start if tools, crew, and grading expertise are available.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- Must have at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing
- Ability to operate a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader
- Access to a transit or laser level
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy or ability to obtain one
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
- Contractor status (not general laborer)
