Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for high-volume above-ground pool installations. Apply expertise in grading and dirt work to deliver precise pool installations across the state; operate heavy equipment (Bobcat/skid steer/front loader) and use laser or transit levels to ensure accuracy. You must bring your own tools/equipment, have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and carry $1,000,000 of general liability insurance or be able to obtain it. Each qualified installer works with at least one full-time helper, starts immediately, and participates in a 3-day on-the-job training to learn Blue World Pools’ build process. Expect 20-30 installations per month with daily pay options and potential bonuses for performance, with earnings per daily pool install advertised as $1,400–$1,600. The role is contractor-based with a 200-mile installation radius and requires willingness to travel for installations nationwide for a company that provides a steady stream of work and marketing-backed opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience installing above-ground pools or significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing
- ownership or access to a residential skid steer/Bobcat/front loader
- transit or laser level
- valid driver’s license
- auto insurance
- $1,000,000 general liability insurance or ability to obtain one
- willingness to cover up to 200-mile installation radius
- ability to start immediately
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
