Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator responsible for high-volume, quality installations of above-ground pools across the state. Responsibilities include completing pool installations and related grading/dirt work using equipment (full-size tow vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, transit or laser level), ensuring safety and efficiency, and maintaining schedules by delivering 20–30 installs per month within a 200-mile radius. The role requires minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, a reliable helper, and immediate availability. Training is provided during onboarding, with pay structured around daily pool installs and potential bonuses for performance milestones. The company, Blue World Pools, is a nationwide above-ground pool installer established since 1982, offering steady volume of work and daily pay after each installation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
- availability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer
