Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for high-volume above-ground pool installations. Role focuses on completing quality pool installations across the stated radius; requires 5+ years in pool installation or precision grading/dirt work, owning necessary equipment, and coordinating with a full-time helper. Training will be provided, with pay details including daily-equivalent earnings and bonuses (sign-on and performance-based). Skills involve operating heavy equipment (Bobcat/skid steer/front loader), grading, and using transit or laser levels; must possess a valid driver’s license and liability insurance; able to travel and start immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work.
- Crew: You must have at least one reliable, full-time helper.
- Equipment: Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level.
- License & Insurance: A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one).
- Availability & Radius: Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month.
- Training & Onboarding: 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer.
