Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator for contract above-ground pool installations across the state. Operate grading and dirt-work machinery to install above-ground pools (typical 24’ round pools), with a focus on quality installations and efficiency. Expect to complete 20–30 pools per month within a 200-mile radius. Work with a crew and a reliable, full-time helper; training will be provided through a 3-day on-the-job program with an experienced installer. Tools and equipment are owned or provided by the contractor or the operator; the operator must provide a full-size towing-capable vehicle, skid steer/front loader, and laser or transit level. Compensation includes daily pay, a $500 sign-on bonus, an extra $500 for every 5 pools installed (up to 25 pools), and up to $1,000 extra per week for completing 5 installs in a week. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience installing above-ground pools or significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy or ability to obtain one
