Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator (Contract) needed for high-volume above-ground pool installations. Operate equipment for grade work and pool installs, require 5+ years of experience or significant grading/dirt-work background, bring your own tools and full-size work vehicle, and work with a helper. Training provided; earn per-install pay with bonuses, daily pay, and potential monthly earnings up to $30,000. Based in Hecker, IL with up-to-200-mile radius availability; must hold a valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- availability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
