Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator (Contract) for high-volume above-ground pool installations. Operate heavy equipment (including full-size towable vehicles, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, laser level) to complete precision pool installations across a 200-mile radius. Must bring own equipment/tools, have a valid driver’s license and $1,000,000 liability insurance, and be prepared to work with a reliable full-time helper. Training will be provided through a 3-day on-the-job program. Company provides steady stream of installs and bonuses; average earnings per pool install range $1,400–$1,600 with potential for high monthly earnings. Roles include travel within Missouri and neighboring areas; pay structure includes daily pay options and bonuses for performance. Requirements emphasize minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, ability to manage multiple installs per month, and commitment to quality workmanship.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- Crew: You must have at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Equipment: Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- License & Insurance: A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one)
- Availability & Radius: Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Training & Onboarding: 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
