Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator sought for high-volume above-ground pool installations. Responsibilities include completing quality pool installations across the state, operating and coordinating with grading/dirt-work equipment (full-size tow vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, transit or laser level), ensuring safety and efficiency, and achieving 20–30 installs per month within a 200-mile radius. Training provided (3 days) with a current installer. Bonuses include a $500 sign-on plus $500 for every five pools installed (up to 25 pools) and an additional $1,000 per week for completing five installs in a week. Daily pay and company-wide encouragement of steady, scheduled work. Company communicates nationwide reach, ongoing job flow, and a focus on steady schedule for installers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable full-time helper
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (ownership or ability to provide)
- availability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- completion of a 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
- contractor position with daily pay and bonuses as described
