Job Summary
Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator needed for contract-based above-ground pool installations across California. Must have 5+ years in above-ground pool installs or precision grading/residential dirt work, own a full-size vehicle capable of towing, and possess a skid steer/Bobcat/front loader and a transit or laser level. Requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance. You will work with at least one reliable, full-time helper, cover up to a 200-mile radius to install 20–30 pools per month, and participate in a 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer. Average earnings are quoted per installation with bonuses and daily pay outlined; tools/equipment are not provided by the company, so ownership or access is required. This is a high-volume contract role with immediate start and potential for consistent stream of work through Blue World Pools, Inc. across the state.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (ownership or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer (provided)
- Contractor position (no company-provided tools/equipment)
