Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator focused on high-volume above-ground pool installations. Responsibilities include completing quality installations within a 200-mile radius, coordinating with a full-time helper, and leveraging owned equipment (truck capable of towing, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, transit or laser level). Must hold a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance; availability for immediate start and adherence to a structured 3-day on-the-job training. Compensation is tied to daily pool installations with a potential of high monthly earnings; daily pay options and sign-on bonuses are offered. Applicant should bring ownership of necessary tools and equipment, and the ability to travel between job sites for multiple installations per month.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20-30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
