Job Summary
Inspect equipment daily for tires, hydraulics, and fluids; grease and top off fluids to ensure reliable operation. Operate excavators, loaders, rollers, and attachments to perform trench excavations, backfill, and grading per specifications. Change attachments, troubleshoot problems, and complete work reports at day's end. Wash and clean machinery weekly while maintaining proper upkeep. Participate in daily safety meetings and communicate project status with supervisors and onsite contacts. Requires Class A CDL, valid driver's license, and ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years performing trench excavations for electrical duct banks, vaults, manholes, and backfilling and grading
- Must be able to follow directions
- Basic construction site knowledge
- Must be able to run equipment: Excavator, Hammer Attachment, Dozer, Blade, Loader, Roller
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be willing to get dirty
- Motivated/Positive Attitude/Works Well with others
- Must have a valid Drivers License and clean driving record (no more than 3 violations in 3 years; no DWIs)
- Class A CDL
