Job Summary
Operate straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicles with front-mounted buckets to lift and transport demolition and MSW materials to roll-off containers. Perform routine maintenance on loaders, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning, while operating skid steer loaders with multiple attachments. Conduct lot cleaning by removing debris manually and with equipment, and execute snow removal, salting, and sanding during each snow event. Direct customers to proper offloading locations and assist with unloading materials as needed. Communicate with subcontractors to schedule deliveries and perform facility and stormwater inspections with the site manager. Report inspection findings to the manager and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/G.E.D.
- Ability to work with both internal and external customers
- Outstanding customer service
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and environments
- Ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities
- Ability to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations
