Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator responsible for operating articulated rock trucks, backhoes, dozers, excavators, and loaders for land clearing, excavations, utilities, and road construction; perform routine maintenance, ensure safety and compliance with standards; read layout information, plan and execute earth-moving tasks, and maintain equipment and paperwork; interact with customers and team, ensuring quality and safety on site.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers’ Licence
- Grade 12 diploma
- College or industry courses in heavy equipment operating an asset
- Trade or Red Seal certification an asset
