Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator at Willoughby, OH responsible for processing scrap metals with equipment including crawlers; operate and maintain heavy equipment from Caterpillar, Sennebogen, and Liebherr; load/unload materials, sort metals, and assist with baler/shredder operations; perform daily equipment inspections, identify material grades, and assist with plant maintenance; interact with customers/drivers and maintain safety with PPE; reporting to safety standards and housekeeping, with opportunities for compensation, benefits, and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- read, write, basic math
- ability to lift up to 50lbs
- ability to work outdoors in varying climates
- pre-employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required
