Job Summary
Operate excavating and loading equipment at transfer stations, load vehicles correctly and efficiently, perform daily inspections, grease/maintain machines, report to the Field Supervisor on breakdowns, use the scale system to maximize vehicle weight, complete required training/certifications, and adapt to changing shifts and outdoor conditions. Strong communication with field supervisors, fleet managers, drivers, and clients is required, along with adherence to safety rules and procedures and willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles
- Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220) or equivalent
- Be able to work the various shifts as needed
- Must be able to communicate with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client’s representatives
- Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures
- Must be able to work a changing schedule based on demand
