Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator responsible for loading vehicles and operating excavating/loading equipment at transfer stations. Perform and document daily inspections, report to the Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs, service and clean the machine daily, work with the scale system to maximize vehicle weight, complete training and certifications, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles
- Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220) or equivalent
- Be able to work the various shifts as needed
- Must be able to communicate with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client’s representatives
- Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures
- Must be able to work a changing schedule based on demand
