Job Summary
Operate large transportation equipment including front-end loaders, overhead cranes, and forklifts to move raw materials, finished pipe, and railcars during manufacturing. Stack and unstack pipe for loading, coating, or repair while transporting steel plates between staging areas. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned machinery, ensuring all equipment movements are documented and traffic rules are followed within the Port of Panama City. Maintain required certifications and licenses while completing area housekeeping tasks. Work rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be willing to work a rotating shift including days, nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in operating large transposition equipment
- Heavy industrial manufacturing experience
