Job Summary
Operate mobile equipment in a quarry/production setting and promote safety culture. Must work with a team, perform pre-shift inspections, and handle at least 3 pieces of mobile equipment (including excavator, dozer, and dredge). Requires high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience; duties include following MSHA safety standards, maintaining equipment, and communicating with plant staff in varied outdoor conditions. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience operating excavator, dozer and dredge
- Ability to operate at least 3 pieces of mobile equipment (e.g., haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader)
- Ability to perform pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb stairs and work in varied outdoor environments
- Strong communication with team members
