Job Summary
Operate front-end loaders, excavators, and dump trucks while diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment to ensure safe warehouse operations. Perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and general building upkeep including dock levelers, racking, lighting, and doors. Coordinate and track preventative maintenance schedules, initiate repairs, and maintain operational history records for forklifts and equipment. Monitor battery maintenance and perform building and equipment audits to ensure a safe work environment. Requires a current CDL-A, welding and electrical experience, and proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Full-time day shift with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- Current CDL-A
- Welding experience
- Electrical experience
- Forklift certified or able to obtain certification
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience with various types of material handling equipment including forklifts, order pickers, clamp trucks
- Building maintenance experience including lighting, dock doors, dock levelers
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must have a strong attendance record
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Technical courses and training
