Job Summary
Maintain diesel and gasoline powered heavy equipment machinery through regular preventative maintenance and on-the-job repairs to minimize downtime. Clean, lubricate, adjust, inspect, repair, diagnose, and replace major components across air, hydraulic, water, fuel, brake, and low voltage electrical systems on mining and support equipment. Follow safe working practices and site safety guidelines while updating safety and production work orders and reports. Operate on a 14-on/14-off rotation alternating between day and night shifts to support the Red Lake Madsen Mine team's production targets.
Required Qualifications
- Heavy-Duty Mechanic Trade Certification (Red Seal) or related field
- Extensive experience with the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty mining equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent proven team player approach to work
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to produce a criminal background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to work in a local job on a 14-on / 14-off rotation
- Willingness to alternate between day and night shifts
