Job Summary
Assess vehicles and machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues, including drill rigs, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and trucks. Perform and record routine maintenance according to schedule, providing routine inspections and repairing equipment as needed. Keep an accurate log of all work performed, maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to company safety policies while providing your own basic hand tools. Welding and build-up auger tools are a plus. This 40-hour per week position may require overtime; full-time employees receive comprehensive benefits including 90% company-covered health insurance, 401K matching, paid time off, and profit sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 10-year min experience as a Mechanic
- Experience conducting routine heavy equipment and truck repair/maintenance
- Demonstrated experience inspecting heavy equipment and trucks
- Practical mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Sound mechanical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Full-time or Part-Time status
- 40-hour per week position availability
- Ability to work some OT
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
