Job Summary
Perform repair and maintenance on heavy equipment, including diagnostic testing, emergency breakdowns, and routine service per company schedules. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake issues while ensuring all safety devices function correctly. Execute welding repairs, fluid changes, and filter replacements in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate repair orders and shop housekeeping using a computerized system. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
- Must be able to read and speak the English language
- 1-2 years of applicable experience required
- Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks
- Familiarity with using a computer
- Excellent mechanical aptitude in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Experience using repair manuals, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair equipment or component failure
- Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays

- Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs
- Must be able to work outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions
- Must be able to work in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter
- Must be able to stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
- Must be able to climb and/or balance
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk
