Job Summary
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic analyzes malfunctions, repairs, rebuilds, and maintains heavy power equipment including cranes and bulldozers. Responsibilities include operating machines to diagnose defects, reassembling equipment, managing maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, and potentially directing other workers.
Required Qualifications
- Two years' experience inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic components
- Certificate from a Vocational Technical School for vehicle or equipment mechanic
- Valid driver's U.S. State issued Class A CDL
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Completion of contractual and company mandated trainings applicable to position
- US Citizen
- Possess or be able to obtain a security clearance
