Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on vacuum trucks, air compressors, hydro vacs, and diesel trucks in both the shop and field. Effectively read and interpret schematics to perform scheduled PM inspections of chassis, vacuum bodies, and all systems. Conduct repairs meeting DOT or OEM standards to return equipment "Ready to Rent" status, while documenting check-in and check-out inspections. Maintain organized shop and storage areas adhering to Super Products standards. Requires valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to travel for field service calls. Hourly rate based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy duty construction equipment and diesel system repair
- Must demonstrate a solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data, drawings, and schematics
- Ability to administer DOT inspections
- Must be organized and possess the ability to multi-task
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must possess a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Possess a solid understanding of the function, operation, and maintenance of truck-mounted vacuum equipment and other construction equipment preferred
