Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Mechanic at ORE Rentals responsible for repairs and general maintenance to rental and shop equipment, including internal combustion engines (gas/diesel), DC electrical systems (12/24/48V), propane and hydraulic systems, track and aerial equipment, and heavy trucks. Requires diagnosing and troubleshooting fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane systems, reading hydraulic/electrical schematics, communicating with team members, vendors, and manufacturers, and performing work safely with independent or team-based work. Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with diesel engines and hydraulics
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and in a team setting
- Basic computer knowledge to open and close work orders
- Inspection License a plus
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. and infrequently up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment occasionally.
