Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical issues on heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, John Deere, and CAT models. Perform general diesel system repairs, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure operational readiness, followed by test runs and strict adherence to safety procedures. Collaborate with supervisors and field staff to maintain equipment reliability, communicate effectively with crew members, and support additional assigned tasks. Requires 3-5 years of heavy equipment experience, strong diesel/hydraulic knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Compensation ranges from $32-45/hr.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment maintenance/repair experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to follow direction
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, and safety‑focused
- 40‑Hr HAZWOPER or 8‑Hr refresher
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass drug screen, physical, and background check
- Requires manual dexterity, full range of motion, and ability to work in various field conditions
Desired Qualifications
