Job Summary
Lead maintenance operations at two sites by performing mechanical repairs on aggregate plant and diesel-powered mobile equipment, including loaders, screens, and conveyors. Troubleshoot, rebuild, and maintain heavy equipment components while scheduling weekly tasks with plant management. Operate loaders to load haul trucks as needed and conduct preventative maintenance on fixed and mobile equipment. Manage housekeeping at both plants, loaders, and the shop. Requires 10 years of sand and gravel screening plant experience, welding/fabricating skills, and a valid CDL. Base hourly rate is $56.83. Union membership with Engineers 003-OKL is required upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- 10-year experience with sand and gravel screening plant operations
- strong knowledge of aggregate processing equipment, conveyors, shakers (vibrating screens), pumps and gearboxes
- Welding/fabricating experience (2-3 years minimum)
- Experience with equipment upgrades/ aggregate plant rebuilds
- Proven stockpiling experience, including working in tight or confined operating areas
- Knowledge of motors, engines, drivetrains, hydraulics
- A valid CDL with a clear driving record per MM policy
- Safety-focused work history and ability to work independently
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) for effective business communication
- Comfortable with technology (online tools, cell phone, common office software)
- Membership with the Engineers 003-OKL
