Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Mechanic role based in Milford, MA, with duties including repairing and maintaining drill equipment (including hoe-rams and skid steers), performing PMs, troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, conducting field service and repairs, coordinating with the Equipment Manager on parts and supplies, using and maintaining tools safely, upholding safety standards, completing maintenance documentation, and participating in Equipment Manager meetings. Requires own hand tools up to 1-5/8 inch, valid driving record, ability to obtain DOT Medical Card, ability to pass ATF screenings, physical capability to lift 50-100 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions. Candidate should have a high school or technical school background, ASE certification in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance, and 3-5 years of experience; military veterans welcome. Required Qualifications
- High school or technical school graduate
- ASE certified in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance (preferred)
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Own hand tools up to 1 5/8 or willing to invest in tools
- Good driving record
- DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass ATF screenings
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs., 30-40% of the time
- Able to work outside on uneven surfaces in varying weather
- Mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, diesel motors, welding, electrical systems, PLC skills
