Job Summary
Perform preventive inspections on equipment, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and assess component wear to determine replacement requirements. Adjust, repair, and replace defective parts, then test equipment following repairs while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Provide planners and supervisors with necessary information to schedule major repairs and complete inspection and maintenance reports. Maintain tools, equipment, and keep the work area clean and organized. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience and involves travel for work rotations of 21 to 35 days within Quebec's Lower North Shore region.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or equivalent training
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability and willingness to travel for work rotations of 21 to 35 days within Quebec's Lower North Shore region

- Valid CCQ Journeyman Certificate in Heavy Equipment Mechanics
- Intermediate English skills
