Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare based in West Palm Beach, FL. Responsible for maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools. Use laptops/tablets to manage work orders, track service intervals, order parts, diagnose issues, and capture documentation. Travel to customer job sites as needed, assist in training lower level technicians, and maintain a clean, professional service vehicle. Must own tools, have advanced mechanical aptitude, strong customer service and communication skills, and understand OSHA requirements (preferred). On-site field work, flexible schedule with potential overtime and on-call duties; successful candidates will be subject to drug screen and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or trade school certificate preferred
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Drug screen required
- Background check required
- 21 years old to operate company vehicle
