Job Summary
Diagnose issues and perform maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and pull data from hundreds of makes and models to determine root causes. Practice safe job practices while assisting in training lower-level technicians and maintaining electronic documentation of work performed. Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required, maintaining the service vehicle in a clean and professional manner. Work Monday through Friday with overtime pay available after 40 hours, subject to on-call scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Must be able to move freely
- Must be able to stand freely
- Must be able to stoop freely
- Must be able to bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be clean shaven
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate
- Experience in field service
- Experience in maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
