Job Summary

Field Technician duties include maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and aerial lifts at EquipmentShare's Richmond, VA facility. Responsibilities include using company tech to create and monitor work orders, tracking service intervals, ordering parts, diagnosing issues across a range of makes/models, and performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems. Must practice safe job procedures, comfortably use laptops/tablets, assist in training lower-level technicians, maintain electronic/work-order documentation, assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery, and comply with OSHA requirements (preferred). Field travel to customer sites may be required; year-round OEM training provided. Requires own tools, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication and customer-service skills. On-call with additional compensation; schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime after 40 hours. Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or trade school certificate preferred
  • Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
