Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic)

Job Summary
Provide maintenance and repair for a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts at customer and company facilities; diagnose issues quickly using data and manuals, and determine root causes. Maintain and document work orders via laptops/tablets, manage parts orders, and perform complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel repairs with independent judgment. Opportunity to mentor lower-level technicians, assist with equipment pickups/deliveries, adhere to OSHA requirements, and travel to customer job sites as needed. Year-round OEM training and a safety-conscious, team-focused environment with opportunities for overtime and career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen
- Ability to travel to customer job sites as needed
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements (preferred)
