Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned heavy equipment, aerial lifts, and tools while maintaining independent judgment. Create, assign, and monitor work orders using proprietary technology to track service intervals and order parts, ensuring accurate root cause analysis and corrective actions. Practice safe job practices by traveling to customer sites for repairs when required, maintaining the service vehicle, and assisting with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery. Assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain complete electronic documentation of daily work performed.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
