Field Technician (Heavy Equipment) at EquipmentShare maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and aerial lifts; manage work orders, track service intervals, diagnose issues using data from multiple models; travel to customer job sites for repairs; operate with OSHA awareness; must own tools and have mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/diesel knowledge; on-site work at South Plainfield, NJ facility with potential on-call duties and OEM training; full-time role with benefits and room for career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma or Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely; ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 10 panel drug screen required; safety-sensitive position
- Willingness to travel to customer job sites for field service
