Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare collects, maintains, and repairs a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts, travels to customer job sites as needed, uses laptops/tablets to manage work orders, and adheres to OSHA requirements. The role requires advanced mechanical aptitude, knowledge of construction equipment, ability to diagnose issues quickly, and safe operation of company vehicles. The technician may train lower-level staff, handle documentation, assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery, and engage in OEM training year-round. A valid driver’s license (21+), willingness to travel to job sites, and a safety-conscious approach are required. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime after 40 hours and potential on-call compensation, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
