Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic)

Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare in Rock Springs, WY. Maintains and repairs heavy equipment and aerial lifts, using real-time data to diagnose issues and determine corrective actions; responsibilities include creating and monitoring work orders, tracking service intervals, ordering parts, and documenting work performed. Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required; on-the-job OEM training provided year-round. Must own tools, possess advanced mechanical aptitude, have extensive knowledge of construction equipment, and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. OSHA knowledge is preferred; role may require on-call scheduling with additional compensation. The position involves reading schematics/diagrams, training lower level technicians as needed, and maintaining professional appearance and paperwork.
