Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare requires performing maintenance and repair on a variety of heavy rental and customer-owned equipment and aerial lifts. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, creating and tracking work orders, ordering parts, performing preventive maintenance, and traveling to customer job sites as needed. Must use laptops/tablets to access data, maintain documentation, follow OSHA guidelines, and assist in training lower-level technicians. Role involves on-site field service, safety compliance, and potential on-call duties with overtime. The position offers year-round OEM training, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or trade school certificate
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Own tools applicable to position
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred

- Clean shaven for some worksite access (if required)
- Background check/drug screen clearance
- Strong documentation skills (work orders)
- Field equipment maintenance

- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Forklift or heavy equipment operation (if applicable)
- Customer-focused problem solving
