Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, based in Amarillo, TX. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned equipment; use of laptops/tablets to manage work orders and service intervals; determine root cause and corrective actions; assist in training lower-level technicians; maintain accurate documentation; assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts; OSHA knowledge preferred; travel to customer sites for field repairs; year-round OEM training; on-call with additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
