Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare in Baltimore, MD. Responsible for maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, diagnosing issues via data from multiple makes/models, managing work orders, ordering parts, and assisting with training of lower level technicians. Travel to customer job sites as needed; OSHA knowledge preferred; on-call with overtime; on-site vehicle maintenance and strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
