Job Summary
Diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models to determine root cause and corrective action for complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment. Perform maintenance and repair while using a high degree of independent judgment, practice safe job practices, and maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed daily. Assist in the training of lower level technicians, order parts, and travel to customer job sites for repair when required. Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts. Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours and on-call scheduling with additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
- This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
- Employment is contingent on passing a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
