Job Summary
Diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models to determine root causes and corrective actions for heavy equipment machinery. Perform maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems while practicing safe job practices and using technology comfortably. Assist in training lower-level technicians, maintain electronic documentation of work performed, and support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Travel to customer job sites for repair when required, maintaining the service vehicle in a clean and professional manner. Schedule is Monday to Friday with overtime pay after 40 hours, subject to on-call rotation with additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
