Job Summary
Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking machine service intervals and diagnosing issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models. Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, utilizing independent judgment and advanced schematics knowledge. Assist in training lower-level technicians, maintain electronic documentation of work performed, and support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Travel to customer job sites as required to perform repairs on rental or customer-owned machinery. This role includes a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime pay after 40 hours, subject to on-call scheduling. Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Must be able to move freely
- Must be able to stand freely
- Must be able to stoop freely
- Must be able to bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be clean shaven
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate
- Experience in field service
- Experience in maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
