Job Summary
Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking service intervals and diagnosing issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models. Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Assist in training lower-level technicians, maintain electronic documentation of work performed, and support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required, ensuring the service vehicle remains clean and professional.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Must be able to move freely
- Must be able to stand freely
- Must be able to stoop freely
- Must be able to bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be clean shaven
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate
- Experience in field service
- Experience in maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
