Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Use proprietary technology to create work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and pull diagnostic data from hundreds of makes and models. Practice safe job practices while maintaining electronic documentation and assisting in the training of lower-level technicians. Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required and assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery. Maintain service vehicles in a clean, professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Must be able to move freely
- Must be able to stand freely
- Must be able to stoop freely
- Must be able to bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be clean shaven
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate
- Experience in field service
- Experience in maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
