Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic Helper responsibilities include loading, unloading, and moving machines and equipment; performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs; operating forklifts and cranes; assisting customers, vendors, and drivers; inspecting machines for damage; documenting issues with photos; ensuring loads are securely prepared for transport; and providing prompt, courteous service while adhering to safety policies. Requires English proficiency, a valid driver’s license, ownership of personal tools, and the ability to work in both in-field and shop environments; prior heavy equipment experience preferred, with a vocational diesel background as a strongly preferred qualification. Position is 1st/Day shift in Mesa, AZ, with hourly pay of $20.90-$27.00 and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of related experience in a similar role and environment
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
- Keep safety as a priority in the work environment
- Ability to successfully complete a skills assessment (eTRAIN test)
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent client service skills
- Own and maintain required personal tools
