Job Summary
Repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and Empire line allied machines, systems, and components in the field. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures; prepare equipment for delivery; travel to remote locations with extended overnight stays; communicate clearly with clients and management; maintain safety and adhere to company policies; own and maintain required personal tools; optional advancement with experience (including Caterpillar work experience). Ability to operate diagnostic equipment, handle warranty considerations, and perform duties in variable weather and physical conditions. Shift is 1st/Day, location in-field with in-person work in Imperial, CA, and opportunities across multiple sites (AZ/NV/eastern CA). Must possess HS diploma or GED, valid CDL/driver license if required, and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of related experience in a similar role and environment
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
- Keep safety as a priority in the work environment
- Ability to successfully complete a skills assessment (eTRAIN test)
- Valid driver’s license
- Own and maintain required personal tools
