Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Counter Representative position at Wilson Equipment Company in Elizabethtown, KY. Responsibilities include filling parts orders via phone, in-person, or online; assisting customers with service department needs and coordinating with service technicians; supporting the rental department with rental agreements and inventory checks; shipping/receiving, maintaining warehouse inventory; providing technical support and troubleshooting; maintaining a clean, organized counter; processing orders and service requests using computer software; handling returns/exchanges according to policy; and performing related duties. Requires strong customer service, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, forklift operation, attention to detail, and proficiency with computer systems. Desired experience in construction/heavy equipment/auto industries, familiarity with online parts catalogs, service coordination or dispatching, and equipment rental or inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift parts that weigh no more than 50lbs
- Ability to operate forklift for heavy parts (50lbs+)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Computer proficiency

- Working knowledge in construction, heavy equipment, agriculture, and/or automotive industries
